About Us
Comprehensive and Diverse CurriculumIn addition to the department's core courses, starting in the 2023 academic year, the department offers two professional programs: "Fashion Apparel Styling Design" and "Creative Design for Fashion Boutiques." These programs allow students to build a solid theoretical foundation and, through design creation, exhibition planning, and execution, cultivate high-quality fashion design skills with cultural awareness, forward-thinking perspectives, and international perspectives, ultimately developing expertise for employment or further studies.
Strengthened Project Design and Practical Training
Learning is integrated into formal courses and numerous practical opportunities. Students accumulate solid professional production experience through off-campus visits, extracurricular activities, design exhibitions, and design competitions. Furthermore, "Graduation Project Design (I) and (II)" are specifically designed as compulsory courses to enhance design skills practice and equip students with sufficient employment and entrepreneurial capabilities. The department's core courses include: Etiquette and Demeanor, Makeup Design, History of Fashion Design, Fundamentals of Clothing Construction, Clothing Materials Science, Computer-Aided Design, Creative Design Lectures, Design Practice Lectures, Integrated Virtual and Real Exhibition Design Planning, Brand Design Project, Graduation Project Design, etc.
