"Jiang Xun· Aesthetics and Creative Education" Exhibition! ---
At the Asian University Museum of Modern Art, Jiang Xun, the master of aesthetics invited, and 15 artists,
from now on, exhibited 120 sets of works together to carry out teacher-student dialogue.
The Asia University (Taiwan) Museum of Modern Art held a joint exhibition of "Jiang Xun - Aesthetics - Creative Education" from March 30th to September 23rd. The master convener was Jiang Xun, an aesthetic master, and Pan Xianren, an assistant researcher of the former National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. The curators and 15 artists participated in the exhibition and exhibited 120 groups of oil paintings, plastic paints, ink paintings, calligraphy, lacquer paintings, composite media installations and other forms of works. Using art as a medium, a teacher-student dialogue was launched, and sincere invitations were invited. Artists visit.
The 15 artists who participated in the exhibition were: Lian Mingren, Lin Liling, Wei Xiaohong, Lin Qiongju, and Dang Ruohong, who specialize in oil painting; Li Zhenhui, Lin Jifeng, Chen Nianci, and Wang Yiran, who are engaged in plastic paint and ink painting; Lu Hanping from calligraphy; Zeng Yongling, who is engaged in the creation of metal works; Chen Weiyi, who creates lacquer paintings; Dong Chengbiao of composite media equipment; Xu Zhiqiang, who is a designer of furniture technology; Li Meiling, Director of the Asian University Museum of Modern Art, said that 16 teachers and students from Jiang Xun participated in the exhibition. A total of 120 groups of works were exhibited. This is the largest number of exhibitions ever since the opening of the museum.
Jiang Xun, the master of aesthetics, said that after 35 years, looking at each other's works together with students with deep fate, I realized that artistic creation will take a long time. Students who have just graduated will need time-quenching to achieve their own style and charm. Nowadays, these students use different materials to create and have different artistic styles. Each person gives a score to himself, which is actually not related to the teacher. The scores given in that year are not counted. The original “beauty” in the art creation education is to be 35. President of the Asia University Cai Jinfa affirmed Jiang Xun’s contribution to aesthetic education. He said: “Jiang Xun and aesthetics education have been equated with equals!” and Yazhou, which has been a school for 17 years, has taken the “people” as its foundation to promote aesthetic education. The establishment of Sanpin College, Volunteer College, and Wuchuang Academy hopes to nurture students’ professional knowledge while at the same time giving birth to innovators with cultural heritage. He firmly believes that in the face of the coming of artificial intelligence era, only aesthetic arts will not be replaced. Aesthetic education can break through the framework and provide nutrients, play an important and imperceptible role, cultivate the full range of talents required by the new generation, and provide opportunities for students and the general public to reach aesthetics more easily through exhibitions in the museum.
Li Meiling, curator of Yada Modern Art Museum who has a 30-year friendship with Master Jiang Xun believes that the 15 students participating in this exhibition together with Teacher Jiang are not so much a teacher-student joint exhibition but rather a separate expression in the forum.
